Scott Cunningham
Scott graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2018 with his BA(hons) in popular music. Since then he has made a career teaching, performing at weddings and touring with various theatre companies. He currently runs his own music school in Glasgow called South Street Music School.
Erdem Akca
Erdem has many years experience working as a freelance performer and Cello tutor. He has performed as an ensemble member and soloist with several orchestras and has performed all over the world. he currently teaches cello at South Street Music School with Scott.
As a duo
Scott and Erdem have both spent many years performing at weddings with various different ensembles. They first met when Erdem started teaching cello at South Street Music School alongside Scott. It was here that they decided to come together and form their own duo. They have been performing at wedding all across Scotland and the UK ever since.
They aim to create a setlist with something for everyone. Mixing classical pieces with pop, songs from film and classic swing. Rest assured they will be able to create the perfect laid back sophisticated atmosphere to accompany your daytime celebrations!
